About

Lyllie Rouvière collaborates as a choreographer and performer and locates her work at the nexus of spatialities and bodies. She explores approaches and methods of how to deepen a sensitive and emotional relationship with our environment. She creates with both human and non-human entities. Her desire is to develop an awareness of the inside and outside realm, enabling a transformation towards togetherness. Rouvière’s artistic practice is greatly informed by her professional training in architecture and dance. Her latest performances include Popular, 2024 (APT Gallery, London), Holy Guts, 2023 (Art Quarter Budapest), LOVE:15, 2022 (Radialsystem, Berlin), No Hard Feelings, 2021 (New Fears Gallery, Berlin). Previously she danced with Ju.ly.lian Weber, Doris Uhlich, Julie Desprairies. She collaborates regularly with the artists: André Uerba, Thomas Laigle, and Stella Geppert; works with two collectives: the psychedelic choir and Suddenly. She co-curates Soft Incident, a body and sound performance series, in KuLe’s gallery and recently gives workshop in the module: performance practice at the University of Art and Design Halle.
